The Sussex Sea Fisheries Committee has made a recommendation to stakeholders on the regional stakeholder group (RSG) of the Balanced Seas Marine Conservation Zone Project that an area in the vicinity of ‘Kingmere Reef’ is designated as a Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ).

Unique operation to catch illegal trawlers
